Hands-On Career Exploration for 3rd – 8th Graders in Conway, AR
Our Summer Programs introduce kids to a wide range of career paths beyond the traditional STEM, music, and sports lens. Through engaging, hands-on experiences led by industry professionals, children get the chance to explore real-world professions in a fun, stress-free environment—long before they face big decisions about their future.
Each course is designed to be bite-sized yet comprehensive, allowing students to gain practical skills, explore career interests, and walk away with a tangible "product" showcasing what they’ve learned. Whether a child finds a new passion or realizes a certain field isn’t for them, every experience is valuable in shaping their confidence and curiosity.

PodSquad: Young Podcasters Playground
Goal: Teach students how to create and launch their own podcast while learning essential internet safety skills. Through hands-on activities, they will develop confidence in storytelling, communication, and responsible digital engagement.

When do the workshops begin?We are set to launch our first series of workshops in March 2024. We are actively working behind the scenes to secure volunteers and venues.

Is there a limited amount of children that are able to attend the workshops?Yes. There will only be a maximum of 10 students per workshop. This maintains the workload balance for the instructors and allows for the students to have more individualized attention. Each workshop will be opened on a first-come, first-serve basis. Therefore, students may opt-in to more than one workshop at a time if the schedule works for them.

Are parents allowed to join the workshop?Parents are not restricted to classroom attendance but are encouraged to stay in the waiting areas so that the child can remain fully focused on the activity without distraction or interference.

Do children have to apply to attend?No, children only have to register for the workshop. There is not an application process for the children. Workshops will be taught with regard to the average age and grade level understanding of the profession.

Do you have a strict cancellation policy?No. We are considerably aware that things happen and come up often. If we notice a high volume of missed attendance at the expense of our volunteers, then we will begin implementing cancellation guidelines. Our volunteers will work very hard for several hours to provide the best experiences and knowledge to the children in the community. We ask that you do your best to bring your child to the workshop when your child is registered.
